Cristal is certainly the most famous wine of the Roederer maison and is fantastic from start to finish, a colossus of power put into the engine by the pinot combined with the undeniable elegance of the chardonnay. A Cristal with a concentrated style, dense to the point of being able to chew rather than drink, but enlivened by the innate freshness and minerality of the best Marne crus. An immense Champagne that we like because it is already heavenly, but which with a few years of maturity behind it could even become divine.
