Description
Timmermans Blanche Lambicus 33 CL.
Timmermans Lambic Blanche beer is a Belgian Lambic Blanche style beer produced in the Timmermans brewery, the oldest brewery in Flanders, founded in 1702. This beer is produced following the traditional spontaneous fermentation method that characterizes Lambic beers and is fermented in barrels of wood with wild yeasts and airborne bacteria. Timmermans Lambicus Blanche is a top-fermented beer that has an alcohol content of 4.5%. It is made from lambic and malted wheat beer, to which spices such as coriander and dried orange peel are added. Its scent is reminiscent of freshly cut wheat and the sweet aromas of summer afternoons.
Timmermans Lambicus Blanche has a cloudy pale yellow color and a soft white foam that disappears quickly. On the nose there are fruity and citrus notes, with a light yeast aroma and an acidic touch. In the mouth it has a fresh and fruity flavour, with notes of lemon, apple and litchi, and a slightly acidic touch. The bitterness level is measured in IBU and is not specified for this beer, while the color level is measured in EBC and is between 4 and 8 EBC. We recommend pairing with seafood and fish dishes, as well as fresh salads and soft cheeses.
