Luz Gin London Dry is a recipe by Leonardo Veronesi bartender, who has been collaborating with Distilleria Marzadro for 7 years. Luz Gin London Dry is produced using Luz Gin Distilled as an alcoholic base and made with 9 botanicals from Trentino: lemon, juniper, woodruff, olive, mint, bay leaf, rosemary, clary sage and sage. The maceration is carried out at an alcohol content of 65% and takes place in 2 different phases. The juniper macerates for 20 days, while the rest of the botanicals for 48 hours; the 2 macerations are then combined in the still, adding the lemon peels.
The distillation takes place in a 1000 liter discontinuous alembic in Bagno Maria and the alcohol content is reduced to 45% vol. with spring water from Monte Stivo. Finally it is bottled without cold filtering. The nose perceives a strong hint of juniper, with citrus notes, of good persistence and intensity. Complex, dry and decisive on the palate, leaving it dry and with pleasant juniper notes. Excellent for the preparation of Gin & Tonic combined with dry tonic water. Perfect to taste individually.
