A place that evokes images of Italian elegance, style and way of life.... the island of Capri, in the Gulf of Naples.

This is where Gin Mare took inspiration for its new Gin, ten years after creating its iconic Mediterranean gin.

In a beautiful blue glass bottle, the inspiration has been taken from the famous Blue Grottoes of Capri and the quality feel continues with a printed label on canvas.

A collar tag, in the shape of a rounded island, hung delicately from the neck of the bottle.

Two new ingredients make themselves known in this edition; In line with the other botanicals (all Mediterranean) these are the Lemons of Capri and the bergamot.

These are added to the distinctive, Mediterranean botanicals found in Gin Mare, such as arbequina olives from Spain, basil from Italy, rosemary from Greece and thyme from Turkey.

They maintain the same artisan approach in making this gin as they do in the original Gin Mare.

The citrus fruits are all peeled by hand, before being macerated for 12 months in small containers.

This ensures a real depth of flavour.

The flavors and aromas of this edition are reminiscent of its older brother, but with the further enrichment of deeper herbaceous and citrus profiles (in both taste and aroma) of lemons and bergamot.
