This gin is handcrafted in small batches. The single distillation as quadruple continues in order to obtain the purest and finest heart of the gin. The originality is also given by the use of fresh citrus fruits and not dried peels, which give the gin more character and aromas. Tanqueray 10 was launched in the year 2000. The name derives from the number of the small alembic used for production, 10, amicably nicknamed Tiny Ten. Tanqueray 10 on the nose reflects an abundance of fresh citrus, but juniper still has a strong note. Lime has the most persistent aroma. Also on the palate the lime, together with angelica and juniper which make the taste spicy and earthy, makes way for the other flavors. Chamomile emerges harmonizing with the spicy notes. A sweet and citrus note enriches the taste. the long and spicy finish.
