Description
A soft, blue-veined, raw-paste cheese made from whole cow's milk, named after a Lombardy town near Milan where it is said to have been created in the 12th century to recover a curd that had been forgotten the previous day. The Piccante version has more pronounced blue/green veins, a more crumbly and dry paste with a stronger flavour due both to the type of mould and to the prolonged maturation. 200 g pack.
