Description
Pastis is an anise-scented alcoholic aperitif typical of France (born in the city of Marseille). When absinthe was banned in France in 1916, major producers (Pernod and Ricard, which later merged into Pernod Ricard) reformulated their recipes by introducing anise, adding sugar and reducing the alcohol content. Pastis is usually drunk diluted with water (with a ratio of 5 volumes of water for each of Pastis). The drink should be consumed cold, even with ice, to cool off on hot days. 1 lt glass bottle
