Liqueur with Mountain Herbs Marzadro Distilleries
Amaro Marzadro is inspired by the ancient recipes of traditional Trentino herbal liqueurs. Since the 1950s Attilio and Sabina Marzadro had been collecting plants and aromatic herbs on the Monte Baldo massif, 2218 msl, with which to flavor their distillates. In the same way even today, after being carefully hand-picked, the alpine rhubarb, the gentian, the white vine, the chamomile, the fennel, the holy thistle, the galega and the different varieties of yarrow are left to cold macerate for a period ranging from 20 to 30 days. Its red color is given by the rhubarb which gives the liqueur a bitter and fresh taste at the same time. How to taste it: ideal to sip at the end of a light meal, perfect for lovers of fresh and very aromatic bitters
