Discover Amaro San Marco, a refined liqueur that embodies the herbal tradition of the Ernici Mountains. This amaro was created in the 1920s, immediately after the First World War, thanks to the initiative of Capuchin Paolo Sarandrea. After completing his service as a Military Chaplain, Paolo resumed his studies as a herbalist, with the aim of enhancing the virtues of local medicinal plants, drawing inspiration from them for the creation of medicinal liqueurs. Together with his brother Marco Sarandrea, he perfected ancient recipes, giving life to the “Biosfero”, a restorative tonic that evolved into the current Amaro San Marco. The herbs selected for this liqueur are expertly infused in high-quality alcohol and spring water, enhancing their aromatic and beneficial properties.

With the right balance of ingredients, Amaro San Marco stands out for its exceptional quality, earning numerous awards in over a century of history, including the title of "Liqueur of the Year 2022" at the LSC 2022.
