The history of the COMAL salami factory began in 1982 as a small food business. After a few years of business, in 1990, the two founding partners – Sandro Gialdi and Claudio Barbolini – decided to become salami producers and opened the first factory in Novi di Modena, starting the production of cooked hams. A highly successful business, which led the company to increasingly high production levels and increasingly higher quality standards. The number of customers increased and the company grew quickly, establishing itself as a well-known and renowned reality in the area.
