FRIENN, "frying" in Campania dialect, was born from the experience of Olitalia, in collaboration with Pasquale Torrente, renowned chef from Salerno, nicknamed the king of fried foods.
FRIENN is the frying oil, completely free of palm oil, produced with sunflower oil with a high content of oleic acid (80%)
and addition of antioxidants (tocopherols and rosemary extract).
Its innovative formulation guarantees the total absence of foam in frying, thanks to the stability at high temperatures,
and the high smoke point, allowing the food not to burn externally.
The evaluation of the behavior of the oil in frying was carried out by the Department of Agro-Food Sciences and Technologies of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
