Zucca Rabarbaro is one of the best known and most historic Italian bitter liqueurs. It was founded by Ettore Zucca in 1845 in Milan. In the composition of the name, "Rhubarb" means the main ingredient of the product, "Pumpkin" only identifies the surname of the founder and does not refer to the vegetable. Pumpkin Rhubarb is a bitter liqueur obtained by infusing rhubarb and other spices and flavors in alcohol. Rhubarb and the mix of other flavors are infused for about 10 days. Pumpkin Rhubarb is a bitter liqueur perfect as a digestive or after-dinner. It can also be used for the preparation of numerous mixology cocktails and very fresh aperitifs.
