Description
Mirto Zedda Piras, a traditional Sardinian liqueur, comes from the berries (red myrtle) and leaves (white myrtle) of the myrtle plant. Very popular in Sardinia, it is served as an after-dinner liqueur. Its peculiar aroma makes it unmistakable and is appreciated even by the most demanding and attentive consumers. The history of Zedda Piras is closely linked to that of Sardinia, its land of origin. Founded in 1854 in the Cagliari area from an initiative by Francesco Zedda, initially focused on wines, the company then expanded its activities to distillates, alcohol and liqueurs, which quickly became the main business area. In 1994 Zedda Piras joined the Sella&Mosca group, acquired by the Campari Group. At the end of the 1990s, the company equipped itself with innovative processing technologies, without however altering the traditional production process, thus guaranteeing the consumer a genuine and quality product. 70 cl glass bottle
