Club sandwich with caramelized onions, chopped pistachios, speck and onion sauce

1) Brown the caramelized onion in a pan

3) Also brown the speck in a pan for a few minutes.

4) Cook the piadinas in a large non-stick pan for a couple of minutes, turning them often. Cut the piadinas into wedges that will form the various layers of the club sandwich.

5) Stuff two or more layers with spreadable cheese , chopped pistachios , speck and caramelized onions.

6) Secure each sandwich with a toothpick and serve.
