Tignanello di Antinori is the Sangiovese that was first aged in barrique, the first modern red made using unusual varieties, and among the first in Chianti to be free from white grapes. Tignanello is a milestone. It is made from an assembly of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Tignanello wine comes from the renowned vineyards of the estate, where the sixteenth-century patronal villa is located, located between the valleys of Greve and Pesa, in the heart of the Chianti Classico, exactly between the small villages of Montefiridolfi and Santa Maria a Macerata, 30 kilometers away. south of Florence. After aging in barriques for about 12 months, the wine undergoes a further refinement in the bottle for a period of one year. Tignanello is one of the great red wines of the Marchesi Antinori, born in the 70s after a long journey of wine experimentation. Precursor of the great Tuscan reds, the Supertuscan, born from the marriage between native and international vines, Tignanello is one of those great wines that made the history of Italian enology, becoming a legend. 75 cl glass bottle
