FRANZ HAAS PINOT NERO DOC 2019 LT.1,5 MAGNUM

Pinot Noir, which for Franz Haas is "the white among the reds", presents itself according to the vintage with a changing play of colors which can vary from a light ruby red to an intense ruby red.

The bouquet opens with notes of cherries and raspberries, marzipan and plum jam, cloves and cinnamon.

At the end aromas of undergrowth are perceived. On the palate the wine is fresh and lively thanks to elegant tannins which make it aromatic and round and ensure an inviting and tasty flavour.

VINIFICATION METHOD

The vinification of the grapes takes place in open tanks in which the fermenting must comes into contact with the skins through frequent pumping over and punching down. Thanks to these techniques, the coloring substances and the aromas contained in the peel are extracted and passed on to the wine. Subsequently the wine ages for a year in barrique and after bottling it further refines for a few months in the bottle.

Pinot Noir goes very well with light fish dishes, roasted game and red meats.
