Ford at Tasso DOC 2021 - Bolghieri Superiore

The Bolghieri Superiore

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and sometimes a small share of Petit Verdot, to represent the elegance, complexity and structure of the Bolgheri terroir. It has been produced since 1990 from vineyards located on alluvial soil, ranging from clay-sandy to clay-loamy, with the presence of Bolgheri agglomerate.

The Vineyards

The Guado al Tasso vineyards are located at the foot of the Bolgheri Amphitheater and, in the night, the cold air descends from the hills to cool the rows. These particular climatic conditions give the grapes a marked aroma and guarantee perfect ripening of the grape.

The Estate

Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small and prestigious DOC of Bolgheri, on the coast of Alta Maremma, about a hundred kilometers south-west of Florence.

This denomination was born in 1995 and boasts international fame as a new point of reference in the world wine scene.
