Chianti Superiore in Fiasco

The iconic flask, the oldest and most widespread wine container, was used for over a century by Ruffino.

Ruffino was the most important name for the production and marketing of Chianti wine in flasks, a tradition that continues today.

Precisely in honor of this, Ruffino, thanks to a limited edition of a new Chianti Superiore DOCG in a flask, renews the memory by creating an indelible connection between past and present.

Tenuta la Solatìa

The grapes come exclusively from the Tenuta La Solatìa near the medieval village of Monteriggioni.

At an altitude ranging from 190-250 meters above sea level, the soil, characterized by a loamy-clayey texture, is rich in limestone and travertine.

70% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and other complementary vines.
