Description
The rum Don Papa takes its name from Papa Isio, a great revolutionary hero who played a crucial role in the liberation war of the Philippines from Spanish domination, endowed with legendary energy and indomitable spirit. This rum is inspired by these important qualities, entirely produced, aged and bottled on the island of Negros, the most important sugar cane production area of all the Philippines, a splendid island that thanks to its volcanic soil produces a cane sugar among the fullest and sweetest in the world. With a very limited production and aged for at least 7 years, Don Papa rum was launched in the Philippines in 2012 and immediately began to attract the interest of all the large western markets, from the United States to Europe. Slightly amber color, very bright, the nose reveals light and fruity sensations of quince and date, together with spicy notes of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and milk chocolate, with hints of honey. The taste is soft, delicate, extraordinarily round and very long in the persistence of apple jam.Superbo combined with cola, or in a daiquiri.
