This Pot Still rum comes from a blend of Worthy Park (80%), Hampden HCLF aged in ex-bourbon barrels (10%) and Hampden HCLF aged in ex-sherry barrels (10%).

Very balanced, it has a fruity, medicinal, mentholated, vanilla, creamy and at the same time herbaceous persistence.

Between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the blenders of the Tropics created rum from assemblages whose composition was never detected - just think of Myers's at John Wray Nephew.

Later, for business reasons, the independent bottlers moved to Europe to create their blends.

With this selection Luca Gargano, Velier and Maison & Velier further consolidate their role as real dependent bottlers,

creating blends that are produced and aged entirely in the distilleries themselves.
