The Kraken a blend of spiced rum

Obtained from the fermentation of sugar cane originating from the Virgin Islands, to which a secret blend of 13 spices is added after maturing in oak wood for 12-24 months.

Intense rich and soft

It has a very dark, almost ink-like colour and a strong spicy aroma, which subsequently opens up very softly with the presence of ginger and a light hint of liquorice on the finish.

It is said that a ship carrying large quantities of spiced rum from the Caribbean islands, for unexplained reasons never reached its destination. Among the many stories told, an attack by the Kraken is suspected, a giant octopus that lives in the ocean depths and devours pirates and sailors. The barrels were washed adrift into the sea and the rum was named Kraken as a tribute to the beast's unquestionable power, but no story has ever been confirmed.
