The Real McCoy is a rum that best reflects the style of Barbados rums

The distillation takes place partly in a continuous coffey column and partly using a copper pot still double retort by Green Engineering. The aging of at least 12 years takes place strictly in a tropical climate and it is Richard Seale himself who composes the Blend of liquids after the right maturation time in ex-bourbon barrels. All the expressions called "Distiller's Proof" are distinguished by the degree of bottling at 46% alc vol without the addition of sweeteners or other additives.
