Designed by Caroline Martin, Diageo Master Blender, the Irish whiskey Roe & Co. is a blended composed exclusively of Irish malt and wheat whiskeys and takes its name from George Roe, the most famous Irish distillate producer of the 19th century . The blend here consists of single malt and single grain exclusively aged in barrels that previously contained bourbon and, to a small extent, in first passage barrels. What comes out is a full-bodied taste, which walks cautiously between youth and the future, a perfect fusion between yesterday, today and tomorrow.Intense amber yellow color with coppery reflections, to the nose it presents sweet but robust tones of sugar of cane and caramel together with fresh fruity hints of pineapple and orange peel. In the mouth it is soft, enveloping and full-bodied, perfectly balanced between the sweetness of vanilla and the spiciness of ginger, with a long finish of custard. Tasty and versatile, perfect on its own but also in the preparation of the most varied cocktails, from the most ' traditional up to the most innovative ones.
