TALISKER WHISKEY SKYE CL.70

The Talisker Skye is the new version of the single malt distillery with no age definition and was created to pay homage to the ever-wild landscape and sea that surrounds the Isle of Skye. This expression is matured in a combination of refill barrels and toasted American oak barrels, with a slightly higher percentage of toasted barrels. The nose is sweet with fruity notes, apricot, pear, orange followed by notes of vanilla, toasted oak and a slight coastal influence. On the palate it is spicy with spicy notes (pepper and ginger), smoky and fruity with lemon and apple and hints of honey. The finish is medium length with notes of spicy smoke and spice.
