Tasting notes
Nose: sweets, caramel and vanilla ice cream in the foreground, wheat aroma. The honey aroma gradually becomes noticeable. There is also some coastal influence, hints of sweet Caol Ila, with a very subtle smoky edge. Taste: honey, sap, a little spice and smoke, apple, hints of lemon and fennel seeds. Finish: dry and slightly sweet, hints of spice and smoke. Overall rating: A more accessible and sweeter Talisker Whiskey than the Isle of Skye in June.
