CHABLIS GRAND REGNARD CHARDONNAY CL.75
Chablis Regnard Chardonnay wine
Description
Chablis belongs to the Burgundy wine area.
It is divided into four different denominations: Petit-Chablis with more than 1050 hectares, Chablis with a little less than 3600 hectares, Chablis Premier Cru with its 780 hectares and the Chablis Grand Cru with about one hundred hectares. The geographical location is very important, because the land is not homogeneous.
On the geological time scale, the vast majority of soils date back to the Kimmeridgian. On the edge of a huge underground limestone basin, they take their typical mineral expression from the ancient presence of the sea, with its fossil residues, in particular of ancient oyster shells.
Produced from a selection of the best Crus exposed to the West, only the first pressing and the "jus de goutte" are used for this wine.
